Anchored in the Standards of Truth

One of my favorite writers, bloggers, fathers and a true man of example in my life has inspired me to establish my own list of truths that the Father and Son have revealed to me over the 28 years of my life. I usually do not mention people in my blogs by name just in consideration of keeping their thoughts privatized in my mind...just in the name of confidentiality. However, Paul O'Rear has a blog that is a MUST-READ for any of my viewers. I am honored to be an active member of his Broken Heart Street Team, a working apparatus in his e-book becoming a reality, and everyone should immediately go to his web page and read his Principles:

So, just as Paul writes in the prelude of this blog, mine is very much a work-in-progress, but enjoy none the less!

When the storms and wind toss you about at sea in life, use the following procedures:
  1. When your personal season of tears interferes with your well-navigated, planned out avenue of life, pause and embrace it. You have been given a Gift from the Son. (I call this Weighing Anchor.)
  2. Every morning, when you awake, continuously forgive those who wronged you in your past. After all, that was yesterday. (I call this procedure All Sails Down.)
  3. "We become what we think about."- Earl Nightingale. I believe this applies to the music you listen to, as well. All of our emotions are touched by the melody and the lyrics. Choose your music wisely. (I call this Tauting the Mooring Lines.)
  4. If at all possible, do NOT go to bed angry. Ephesians 4:26-27 (This would be Releasing the Parachute.)
  5.  "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 (This could be Jesus at the Helm.)
Now that you have followed these steps of faith, the storm will pass with minimal damage and shipwreck will not occur while you are at sea.

    I think that's why the world is the way it is... people don't forgive, people don't care about those who are hurt so therefore; innocent people become victimized whether it is emotionally (like child neglect, divorce....etc) or physically like we have seen happen too often recently.
    Following a few easy steps make the world of difference, yet, we live in an unforgiving society and sadly that's also how our children are being raised.

So, our good friend Snoop Dogg has now changed his name to Snoop Lion, and is redirecting his sights on a new reggae album. Odd. A Renaissance in Patriotism: A Series of Blogs by Blockhead (1)

As of today, I have decided to start my first ‘series’ of blogs, whereas there is much to be said.  After posting an earlier blog, a good friend and excellent writer reached out to me in the comments section (see previous blog history to see her words verbatim).
